It’s often said that one should be careful who they give to.
But what if you were careful how you gave?
What if your giving was different?
As I’ve gotten older, anonymous giving has become my favorite way to give.
Untraceable.
Private.
Confidential.
I don’t need a thank you.
If I’m giving online, I give the least amount of info possible.
I select the “hide” all option.
I don’t need a thank you.
If I’m giving in person I like to mimic the same idea.
How can I give this gift while offering the least amount of information possible?
How can this gift be “hidden”?
Untraceable.

I don’t need a thank you.
Sometimes I give it to a friend and ask them to give it to the person (or cause) without saying who it’s from.
And if they can’t hold water, I’d ask them to wait until after I leave.
It’s pretty hard for someone to expect anything from you, if they don’t know who you are.
And it's pretty hard for you to expect anything in return.
Untraceable.

You don’t need a thank you.
God knows.
