They come from people who don’t check the boxes mentioned above.
There’s an old biblical story of a group of rich men giving their large gifts to the temple. In comes a poor widow giving her two cents. Yet somehow, she gave more.
You don’t need the dominant voice, and you don’t need the dominant gift.
